The Algae/Lawnmower Blenny is a fabulous fish from the Indo-Pacific often called a Sailfin Blenny or Jeweled Rock Skipper because of its shimmering jewel-like blue spots and its ability to jump from tidal pool to pool in the wild. You'll adore this fish when it's perched upon a rock watching you or what's going on in the room. And if that's not enough of a reason to have one, consider its common name is “Lawnmower.” These fish thrive on nuisance algae. If your tank is free of algae, remember to supplement this vegetarian's diet with frozen or fresh foods containing plant matter and algae.
