CARIB SEA FLORIDA CRUSHED CORAL is the only crushed coral with aragonite, which provides up to 25 times the buffering power of other crushed corals, dolomite, or oyster shell. This substrate will naturally maintain higher pH (8.2+) and provides maximum surface area for water purifying bacteria. Can be used with calcium and essential trace elements such as strontium. Amy be used in traditional undergravel filtered systems or reverse flow beds. This is also the standard choice for fish only marine aquariums at 1 pound per gallon.
