The Chocolate Chip Starfish is a member of an aggressive species of Cnidarians from the Indo-Pacific region. Deceptively cute, it eats most meat and detritus and anything it can catch, including small fish, crustaceans, corals, anemones and urchins. It is helpful and popular for eating detritus in fish only systems. Drip acclimation is recommended for all inverts to avoid rapid changes in water chemistry. Copper based medications can be fatal for inverts.
