Coralife offers a complete range of replacement lamps suitable for a wide variety of saltwater and freshwater aquarium set ups. These replacement lamps are for the most commonly used T8 fluorescent aquarium hoods and strip lights. They are compatible with electronic or magnetic ballasts.
 
Actinic lamps emulate the softer shades of blue light found at dawn, dusk, and in deeper water. With a spectral peak at 420 nanometers, actinic lamps promote photosynthesis and cause corals to fluoresce in beautiful glowing colors. For use with saltwater and coral reef aquariums
