The Fire Fish is an attractive fish found in the Indo-Pacific regions. They are very popular because of their sweet temperament, stunning beauty, and compact size. They are great for small and large aquariums. In the wild they prefer to be in groups, so consider owning more than one if you have the space. Also provide hiding places they can escape to if they feel threatened. When stressed, they may jump, so a lid is a good idea. They'll eat frozen carnivore preparations, chopped or shaved seafood. Vitamin-enriched food will maintain their vibrant color.
