Fluval Foam provides mechanical straining of particulate wastes. It prevents particulate waste from prematurely clogging other filter media in the Module Stack. Although the primary purpose of Fluval Foam is mechanical filtration, biological activity will eventually occur within its pore structure.

  • Captures large particles and debris for effective mechanical filtration
  • Custom fit for Fluval filters, the foam prevents bypass but has a pore size that allows efficient water flow with less clogging
  • Can be used with freshwater and marine environments
