This battery powered fish feeder has an easily accessible food drum. The NutraMatic 2X can be installed in 3 different positions: free standing, rim mountable and fits into certain canopies. Wouldn't Recommend, 11/6/2010

I was going to be gone out of town for 9 days. I went out and got 4 of these to place on my tanks while I was gone. When I got back I found that they had all gotten clogged due to the water causing the food to stick to the inside of the tube. It caused all the food in them to foul and it cost me some of my fish. I thought maybe it was due to where I placed them on the tank so I gave them a second try when I was home. I cleaned them all up and put food in them. Once again within two days all four of them were clogged with wet food. I assume this is due to the popping air bubbles from the air stones in my tanks. They might work if they were raised well above the water level but that would mean I would have to build some kind of extention on them. I was very displeased with this product. I have learned my leason, now when I go out of town for extended periods I have a friend come over and feed the fish. Even if she misses a feeding or two that is better than my fish missing 9 days of food.
