The Kordon AmQuel Ammonia Remover aides in chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia removal. This formulation acts rapidly, and is safe for fishes, aquatic invertebrates, and other aquatic life. The formulation acts within minutes, and is very simply to use. Kordon AmQuel quickly and effectively removes/detoxifies ammonia, chlorine and chloramines (three of the most toxic chemicals commonly found in tap water from public utilities) from fresh and salt water. This is the first to be a true one-step liquid ammonia and chloramine remover that is simple to use. AmQuel functions as well in salt water as it does in fresh water; whereas zeolites do not remove ammonia in salt water.
