The Naso Tang comes in several varieties from Hawaii, the Indo-Pacific and the Red Sea. This Lipstick Tang originates from the Indo-Pacific region and is also referred to as a Blonde Naso Tang. The Blond Naso has a lighter coloring that will darken to a bluish gray as it matures. This is a beautiful Tang that develops a dark mask. The Naso will get along with tank mates and other Tangs, but those with the same shape should be avoided. It will accept meaty foods, but is primarily a vegetarian and should be offered a variety of vegetable based foods such as dried seaweed and marine algae at least three times per week to keep its immune system healthy and colors vibrant.
