Not just for Puppies but Senior Dogs too!, 6/17/2009

I have an aging Pit who has lost some of his teeth however he still loves to chew! He also has a companion who is younger with no dental issues. I had to switch to something softer for the older Pit as the regular chews would lay around and the other dog would end up with his treat. He just is so happy we found these chews! Now he isn't being left out and can eat these all up without pain. These are a great alternative for the senior dog.

Toro Puppy Chews, 12/26/2008

I bought these for my 6 month old Chihuahau puppy & she loves them! She loves to chew on everything but these seem to be the rawhides she loves the best! She wont stop chewing on these until its gone!

Toro puppy chews, 6/13/2008

So I gave this to our 3 month old springer spaniel who absolutely loved it. Like Trish (reviewer), we found the fine print located under the packaging flap after giving it to him. "should only be given to pups over 6 months" He chewed while next to me but when he got up to walk away, he swallowed the piece of raw hide whole before I realized what he was trying to do. No choking or issues yet but I'm worried about possible blockages. Why would that information be in small print in a hidden location. it should be clearly marked on the front of the package!

Our 4 month old yellow lab really enjoys this chew. The only issue is that he goes through them quickly, so we had to go to the larger size chews to keep him busy.

Toro Softer Chews for Puppies, 11/24/2007

I purchased these today and gave one to my chocolate labgolden retriever X puppy who enjoyed it immensely. Only later did I notice in VERY small print covered by the fold on the back of the bag that they were recommended for puppies 6 months and older. My puppy is 2.5 months. This product should be clearly marked on the front of the package that it is recommended for puppies 6 months and over.

Like a pacifier for dogs, 4/15/2007

I have a 6 month old sheltie who is constantly chewing. He absolutely is crazy about these Toro puppy rolls and will chew on 1 roll for hours. Its a great product. Keeps him busy and his teeth and gums healthy and I can relax knowing he isnt chewing on furniture or other things that could harm him. Love this product! Thanks!
