The Painted Side Wrasse is also known as the Rainbow Fairy Wrasse and Colored Fairy Wrasse. It’s a friendly fish that may even hang out with other schooling fish if you have some. It will be most happy if you have a deep sand bed for it to burrow into at night and live rock to swim through during the day. For reef owners who want a Wrasse but avoid them for the safety of their corals and inverts, this is your fish. The Carpenter would prefer to dine on meals you offer such as chopped meaty carnivore food preparations, feeder shrimp, and worms.
