The Pinktip Anemone from Haiti are loner-types. They have no particular tendency to form relationships with fish, as most anemones do, and they usually live singular or in loose clusters of two or three, but are not colonial. They like to bury their bases in the sand or in rock crevices for protection. They do well with lots of live rock and crustaceans in a reef aquarium, but are aggressive and tend to wander around the tank, so they will probably sting other anemones and corals in the tank. A diet of fish, mussels, shrimp and other foods like this will work best. Drip acclimation is recommended for all inverts to avoid rapid changes in water chemistry. Copper based medications can be fatal for inverts.
