The Purple Stripe Dottyback, a small hardy and brightly colored species from the Indo-Pacific, has a yellow body capped off with a flashy purple stripe on top. It is feisty and should lodge with larger, semi-aggressive fish. It will eat ornamental shrimp so exercise caution in a reef. A regular diet of brine shrimp and prepared frozen foods will work best.
