The Raccoon Butterfly can be found living among the reefs of the Indo-Pacific region and is a very dramatic looking fish. Its yellow color, black mask, and marking contrast nicely. It should be kept in a fish-only aquarium as it will eat corals and invertebrates. Ideally, it should be kept with only butterfly fish. You may want to start this fish off with live food upon introduction then gradually switch to a regular diet of crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, and other frozen preparations once it has adjusted to its new home.
