The Sebae Anemone is a beautiful anemone that comes in various shades from tan to white and is native to the Indo-Pacific. It will grow rather quickly if given the right conditions. Be sure to allow space for extension of its tentacles if placing is a reef tank. This anemone will do well with or without a clown fish to host, but seem to adjust more quickly with a clown. Zooxanthellic algae housed in its body provide much of its nutrients, but it will eat filter feeding invert food, Mysis shrimp and microplankton. This Anemone is known for associating with Amphiprion chrysopterus and will host some other clowns as well. Drip acclimation is recommended for all inverts to avoid rapid changes in water chemistry. Copper based medications can be fatal for inverts.
