The Sexy Shrimp, from the Indian Ocean, prefers to live in an Anemone and prefers to live in small groups or three to five. In addition to living on anemones, the Sexy Shrimp can also be found perching among corals. Their fancy way of moving includes a seductive looking shake of the tail resembling a mating walk, thus lending to their common name. These little shrimp are quite entertaining to watch. They accept most flake and meaty foods so they are easy to feed. Drip acclimation is recommended for all inverts to avoid rapid changes in water chemistry. Copper based medications can be fatal for inverts.
