Magnesium is an essential part of chlorophyll, which is necessary for photosynthesis. Without photosynthesis, algae and corals, which we have in our aquariums, would not survive. Thrive 3 Magnesium Supplement provides magnesium, which helps regulate the balance between calcium and carbonates in aquarium water and is a component of aragonite, the mineral secreted by reef-building organisms such as corals, clams and their allies to form skeletal material. This highly-concentrated ionic magnesium solution contains no unwanted organic material such as EDTA, gluconate, or polygluconate. It maintains a correct magnesium concentration and is therefore very important and is indirectly responsible for fast coral and calcareous algae growth. Reef aquariums with high alkalinity and calcium demands may need to correct ionic imbalances. Thrive 3 Magnesium Supplement is formulated at 123,421 mg/kg, which is a saturated solution of magnesium chloride and magnesium sulphate.

Directions:
If not using Thrive Analytics in store or at home:
Find the current Magnesium value
Add 1 ml per 5 gallons daily until the target magnesium is reached
Dose daily as needed maintain magnesium at 1250 to 1370 ppm
Caution:
This product is harmful if ingested. If swallowed: give water, get medical attention. May cause eye or skin irritation. If in eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes, get medical attention. If on skin, wash thoroughly with water. Keep from freezing. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use this bottle for drinking water
Instructions:
Dosing without testing is not recommended. Each ml of Magnesium will increase the magnesium in 1 gallon of water by 32.6 ppm. Add magnesium at the maximum rate of 2 ml per 1 gallon daily until target is reached. Then dose weekly or as needed
