The Yellow Wrasse is a medium sized Wrasse that comes from the Indo-Pacific and is also known as the Canary or Golden Wrasse. This fish is a winner on all levels of its beauty, size, attitude, and usefulness. To keep it happy, provide a deep sand bed so it can burrow to hide when frightened. A tight lid is needed as it will try to jump out. It should also be in a tank with other peaceful fish. It will eat Pyramidellid shrimp and fireworks, feather dusters, tubeworms, wild shrimp and flatworms, but it will leave corals and clams alone. It may even clean parasites from tank mates if they allow. Good diet items consist of live meaty foods like feeder shrimp, flaked foods, and marine fish.
